The Sweet Surprise

There was a plum tree behind the little garden we had at the rented house around the corner of Saint Kitts Court. It wasn't impressive and I didn't even bother to take a second glance at the little tree when I first moved in at late summer.

Seasons changed from fall to winter to spring. And one day I walked around the house snapping shots for my assignment, there it stood right where it had been all the while, with hundreds and hundreds ofsweet little plums dangling all over the the tree. And hundreds of them fallen ones scattered all over on the ground..It's the picture of a California Spring.

And the plums were sweet! And boy that was one hell of a fertile little plum tree! The plums ripened much faster than our consumption and giveaway rates by far...

It was simply sweeeeeet!
